This is a vintage dog shirt from the 1950s era. I have many vintage shirts by Bernese Mountain Dog, including this one. This T-shirt was bought at a shoe auction where they had runners run through them to sell them as running shoes. It was delivered after the auction and is in excellent condition. The design is reproduced heavily on both sides of the shirt, but it did not come with tags that day so it’s impossible to know what it’s made of or if it’s even real! The tag says “54952”.

So, I’ve been looking for a second Bernese Mountain Dog to replace one that died many moons ago, and this is perfect for me. It was a gift for a friend that I don’t know much about, and I’ve only been wearing it a couple of times, so I can’t really comment on the quality. It’s soft, comfortable, and it fits really well. There’s a big bib that fits the dog really well, but I’m not sure I like the style. I don’t want the bib to be too big around the dog’s neck, and the sleeves are a little too long. I’ll just have to deal with it. I love the colors and the fact that they’re reversible, and they fit really well. I’m not sure why they’re made of cotton, though. I’m sure it’s really a great shirt, but I’m not sure it’s really ‘Bernese’ in the way I think it should be. I’d love to have this back to be a pre-packaged item, but I’m not sure I’d get the money back from Amazon.
